🎓 Mission & Purpose
The Christine di Grandi Jones Education Scholarship (CJES) provides financial support to qualified DCAR members seeking to advance their real estate education, professional knowledge, and career development.
Established in loving memory of longtime DCAR Education Chair Christine di Grandi Jones, this scholarship honors her dedication to professional development, member education, and her lasting contributions to the Dutchess County Association of REALTORS®.
Through this scholarship, we continue Christine’s legacy by supporting REALTORS® committed to growth, learning, and excellence in the profession.
🎓 Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
✅ Be a DCAR member in good standing
✅ Be licensed for at least one year
✅ Demonstrate production with a minimum of two closed transactions within the past year
📝 Application Requirements
Applicants must submit:

✉️ Two letters of recommendation dated within the past three months

🏢 One letter from your broker (waived for principal brokers)

📄 Personal statement outlining:

Classes or programs you’re interested in

Why those courses appeal to you

How they will enhance your professional skills and business growth

📚 Eligible Education Opportunities
Scholarship funds may be applied toward:
⭐ NAR Designation Courses
(Examples include ABR, CIPS, GREEN, GRI, MRP, RSPS, SRS and more)
⭐ NYSAR education programs
⭐ Courses offered by other REALTOR® associations
(DCAR CE classes remain free for members)
⭐ Approved real estate school courses
⭐ Broker qualifying education
