Year End Update 2008
Dear Members & Affilates:
As the year draws to a close the Membership Committee would like to thank all of you for your support throughout the year in attending, as well as sponsoring, our events for the Dutchess County Association of
REALTORS
. Working together has made a successful 2008!
The Holiday Luncheon & Raffle was a terrific event and a wonderful time was had by all! Thank you to everyone who donated the beautiful gifts. Dessie Henion and her Community Service Committee did a terrific job in raising over $2,000 for Dutchess Outreach. Also a big thank you to Deb Miliambro and her Program Committee: John Greenan, Christine Jones. The tireless effforts that Deb has made in setting up the venues and the planning for our events have been greatly appreciated. Deb will be resigning her Chairperson seat at the end of this year and we will miss her greatly!
Also at the end of this year I will be resigning my Chairperson seat of the Membership Committee. It’s been two and a half years and I have immensely enjoyed working with all of the members and affiliates I have come in contact with. I will also leave my post as Secretary of the Board and will be moving on to President-Elect of this fine Association - and look forward to the responsibilities I will have in representing all of our members. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those who served with me on the Membership Committee in the past: Nancy Lilly Hamilton (HVFCU), Kit Colbourn, Dee Richter (ServiceMaster), Mary Lenz, Robyn Credo, Aggie Pon, Milton Ritter (Ritter Insurance), Jeff Chiu (Heritage Mortgage), Brian Smith, Kimberley Makarian, Terry Searle and Niki Pagones. And, of course, to Emily Craig, for all she has taught me in being an effective Chairperson. Thank you Emily from my heart! Everyones' work for our organization is so greatly appreciated!
Our fondest wish is for all of you to have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday, and a prosperous New Year in 2009 as we all look forward to the future successes of our organization!
